A sumptuous home stay in Dorset for families and friends looking for a special place to celebrate together. The property offers a giant sun terrace with a BBQ and bench seating, and a spacious lawn perfect for a family football match. The South West Coast Path and its extensive views over the rolling downs and secret valleys make Dorset even more special. A stay at Launceston Farm is truly the perfect place to host your next exclusive retreat.
My children wanted more outdoor activities for kids.

We stayed at Launceston Farm for a weekend getaway and were delighted with our experience. The cottage was spacious and spotlessly clean, with a separate bedroom and bathroom upstairs. The thoughtful hosts even left us a delicious cake, milk, and water. The location was wonderfully peaceful, with a private courtyard and easy access to local amenities. The highlight was definitely the fabulous swimming pool - it was the best night's sleep we've had away from home! Surrounded by lush green fields, it was truly a beautiful part of the country.
100% Recommend this hotel.

The Cottages At Launceston Farm provided the perfect New Year stay for my husband and me. The cottage was beautifully decorated, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The accessible layout and thoughtful touches throughout the property made it easy for us as senior guests to feel comfortable and at home. From the freshly baked cake upon arrival to the wood-burning stove all set up for us, every detail was taken care of. The pool was a highlight, and I thoroughly enjoyed an early morning swim. The location was ideal, with a local pub just a short walk away and popular attractions like Durdle Door within a reasonable driving distance. We wished we could have stayed longer and will definitely be returning. Thank you to the lovely hosts, Sarah and Catherine!
The only suggestion I would make for a better vacation experience for senior guests is that the children working there could provide more assistance with recommending and organizing activities suitable for our age group.

The place was straight fire, perfect for us and our squad. We checked out the South West Coast Path, and it was absolutely breathtaking. The views were on fleek, fam! And let's not forget about the farmhouse, it was lit AF. The bedrooms were mad comfy, and we loved chilling in the lounge and kitchen. It was the perfect spot for our turnt-up party!
If we had to ask for one thing, it would be for some more lit activities for us young party animals. Don't get us wrong, everything was dope, but we just wanted some extra excitement, like a banging dance floor or a sick gaming area.

Spacious and clean accommodation, with a lovely surprise of cake, milk, and water. Peaceful and private courtyard, short drive to local amenities. The Cottages At Launceston Farm was such a lovely place to stay. I absolutely adored the beautiful decoration throughout the hotel. From the charming vases and pretty touches in the cottages to the tastefully furnished common areas, everything was designed with such thought and care. It really made me feel like I was in a cozy and elegant home away from home. As a senior woman, I also appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The grounds were easy to navigate and there were no stairs or difficult obstacles to worry about. It made my stay very comfortable and enjoyable.
If I had to ask for one improvement for senior vacationers, it would be for the children working there to be a bit more attentive and proactive. Although the owners were always available when needed, I sometimes felt that the younger staff members could have been a little more attentive and helpful.
